How to Create 3D Text in Pixellab APP

Creating 3D designs in Pixellab is simple and fun. Pixellab is a popular app for designing text, logos, and images. Its 3D feature lets you add depth and style to your designs. In this guide, I’ll show you how to create 3D designs in Pixellab using simple steps.

Step 1: Open Pixellab

First of all, you need to open the Pixellab app on your device. On the home screen, you will see a default text on the screen that will be like “New Text.” Click on this, you can edit it to your text, (the “A” symbol) at the bottom of the screen can be used to change the text.

Step 2: Write Your Text

You can tap to edit the text, then tap it, and a new menu will appear that will let you change the text and provide all the text editing options like size, color, fonts, and multiple different effects for text. When you enter your required text click “OK” to save the changes. 

Step 3: Turn On the 3D Feature

When you select the text 3D text option also appears in the text effects you scroll horizontally to find the “3D text” option which will look like a cube icon. Press this button your new option will open before you. You will see a toggle switch “Enabled” to turn on the 3D effect. When you turn on this option your text will be immediately converted into the 3D form.

Step 4: Adjust the 3D Depth

When you turn on the “Enabled” toggle you will presented with multiple options related to 3D text where you can adjust depth, edges, shadow, and three different axes of the text position. Additionally, you can also change the color in plain, auto, and gradient. 

Step 5: Change the Perspective

3D effects also include the perspective option in which you can change the angles of text in 3 different ways like Pixellab provided three different axes. Here are these

X-Rotation: In this option, you can adjust the text angle vertically like bowing down or leaning back.

Y-Rotation: through y-rotation, you can change the text angle horizontally towards left and right.

Z-Rotation: This rotation option is for 360 rotation of the text. You can rotate your text in circle form.

Step 6: Add Shadows and Lighting

You can make the 3D text design in more detail by adding shadows and lighting effects. In the same 3D Text menu, go to the “Shadow” option. Turn it on, and your text will have a shadow behind it. You can adjust the shadow’s direction from left, right, up, down or anywhere you like it. 

For lighting effects, scroll down to find the “Light” option. You can adjust the intensity, shadow, and specular hardness effect to make the light effect more personalized and according to your preference.

Step 7: Choose a Background

After all the above settings you can choose your text background to make it more appealing, but you can leave it transparent as well if you want to use it as a logo. After choosing the background you can save it as a project or image in PNG format for use,
